WRITER / ACTOR
Candice Morel is a French actress, based in London for three years. After studying dramatic art in a Conservatoire and movement theater in Paris she came to London and integrated the Bubble and squeak Collective. She is also part of the French British Improvisation, a popular improvisation company that mainly improvised in French. In 2018 she produced, wrote and performed her first show in London at The Lion and Unicorn Theater. She also performed for the Camden Fringe theater the same year.
Candice discovered Burlesque dance in 2014. She trained at City Academy in Cabaret dancing and performed a few time burlesque performance.
Alexiane Cazenave is a french actor, writer and director. She has been workings as a professional actress for over 15 years. She teaches drama for “The Art Fabric” a french theatre company based in London. She has directed plays for the Art Fab Festival, including “Small talk” by Carole Fréchette in 2019 and “Chroniques” by Xavier Durringer in 2018. She is currently working on the animation film “Carmeline” that she wrote and which is directed by award winning director Rosa Beiroa. She also directs films and is now developping a few projects with a collective of european actors.
Impossible Theatre is a new company created by Candice Morel in association with Alexiane Cazenave. Candice is an actor and writer. She has produced, written and performed in both France and England. Alexiane is also an actor, writer, director and theatre teacher at Art Fabric. They are both French native speaker and fluent English speakers.
The name of the company comes from Candice’s personal experience in life, indeed being a strong dyslexic and dyspraxic Candice was told that she could never speak English or write properly and yet she came here, learned English, wrote and performed her own show. Nothing is Impossible.
